The new 2019 Kia Sedona was recently unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. This newly refreshed model offers performance, style and advanced safety features. It has a newly designed front and rear fascia, a more modern headlight configuration and reconfigured bumper and air intake with sporty flair. At the front is Kia’s signature ‘tiger nose’ grill highlighted with a detailed mesh-like pattern.
The new 2019 Kia Sedona is powered by a true Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) 3.3-liter V6 engine and is now paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This model still delivers 276 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque as in previous models. The new transmission has been designed to create a more seamless driving experience and help improve fuel economy.
An award-winning interior with a refined center fascia and plenty of upscale materials awaits the occupants of this new minivan. Convenience features such as an available wireless charger, USB charge point and rear entertainment system with 10.1-inch dual touch screens located on the back of the front seats allow passengers a more engaging ride. New Sedona models upgraded with a dual core CPU system have smartphone-mirroring functionality and internet access via the user’s compatible smartphone. This allows passengers to play their favorite online videos on the screens.
A full suite of driver assistive, safety features can be found on the new 2019 Kia Sedona. These features include Forward Collision Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and a new Driver Attention Warning feature. These new features work individually and in tandem to alert drivers to potential obstacles, pedestrians and other potential collision risks.
