The 2016 Optima will also have improved ride and handling from a redesigned, solid chassis and wider wheelbase.

The Kia Optima cabin has been finished with ultra soft-touch materials, stitched trim along the dash and doors and metallic accents throughout. Special attention was focused on improving seat comfort with a stiffer seat frame wrapped in soft foam that supports the upper back and a dense foam that supports the lower back. This new  interior design upgrade makes the ultra posh Optima cabin comparable to Kia’s luxury sedans.

This new model is also packed with convenient technology. The new Optima is the pilot vehicle for the introduction of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that allow drivers to access information and entertainment from their smartphones. A wider center console with an 8-inch touchscreen will display the smartphone’s most important features for quick access, hands-free calling and improved communication. Although the new Optima will be offered with a impressive standard six-speaker audio system, a premium surround sound system with 10 speakers and an upgraded 630-watt digital amplifier will also be available.
