The 2017 Honda Fit will arrive in Atlanta, GA soon.
Introduced to the U.S. Honda lineup in 2006 as a 2007 model the Honda Fit has found its place as a versatile 5-door subcompact hatchback. The new 2017 Honda Fit marks the third generation for this affordable and efficient model.
Over the last decade the Fit has earned multiple awards and accolades. Of these are recent titles, “Best Hatchback for the Money” by U.S. News & World Report and one of “America’s 10 Best Back-to-School Cars of 2016” by KBB.com.
Powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder Earth Dreams Technology engine with i-VTEC+VTC valve, timing and direct fuel injection, the new Fit delivers 130 horsepower. It is offered with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and has an EPA fuel-economy rating of 29/36/32 (city/highway/combined).
The Fit continues to offer class-leading passenger and cargo volume. The interior features an expansive 95.7 cubic feet in passenger volume and 39.3 inches of rear seat leg room. This allows for comfortable seating for five adults with more legroom than most midsize cars. For cargo space the Fit offers multiple configurations for up to 52.7 cu ft. The folding and sliding Magic Seat also allows for transporting long and tall items.
The new Fit will be offered at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $15,990 and will continue to offer the functionality, fun and refinement that defines it.
